Fotini’s Cottage is a traditional house in Symi, built in 1923 and which has been recently renovated. It is located in the Petalo ( Pitini ) region on the southern side of the port between the village and Yialos (port).

From Yialos (port) one can reach the cottage by foot in approximately fifteen minutes or if one does not care to walk it can be reached by motorcycle or by taxi with drop off fifty meters from the cottage. A visitor can also choose to take the bus be get off at the windmill bus-stop from which the cottage is a three to four minute walk. It takes approximately five minutes to reach the cottage from the village.

The house is located on the lower level and is separate from the upper level, and has a sitting room with traditional furniture and a large couch which can sleep two persons comfortably. The bedroom is spacious and has a double bed, large wardrobe and dresser with mirror. There exists a separate kitchen which is equipped with an electric stove, boiler and all other appliances that are required should the guests want to prepare a meal or snack. The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a shower.

Guests can relax in the cottages garden by enjoying a drink or by having a barbeque. Guests can also enjoy the small but “romantic” terrace from which one can view the sunset over the port and the traditional houses of Symi.

Upon arrival guests will be greeted with a “Welcome Amenity” of coffee/tea, milk cake, table water and Greek wine.
