This traditional house has been totally renovated according to the local Patmos architecture and in such a way so as to fulfill the needs of the most demanding visitor! It is situated in the heart of Chora, right next to the central piazza of Aghia Lesvia, in a spot where everything is nearby but at the same time the house is absolutely quiet and peaceful!
KAMARAKIA house follows the typical Patmian plan and is built around an internal courtyard allowing for 2 independent houses and 1 apartment. The houses have maintained their stone walls and decorative elements and are furnished with authentic, traditional furniture.
There is a 4 person house as you enter the yard - KAMARAKIA GROUND FLOOR HOUSE - no. 1.
This house consists of an open space dining/kitchen area wherein there are two single beds, a bathoom and an independent bedroom with a traditional Patmos double bed . The house has exclusive access and usage of the yard ( table, chairs, sun umbrella).
There is a 4 person house on the first floor - KAMARAKIA FIRST FLOOR HOUSE - no. 3. This house has its own spacious veranda ( sun umbrella, table, chairs and cushions) with beautiful views of the Aegean and the settlement of Chora.
The house is ideal for 4 persons but could also sleep 1 more upon request.
It is on two levels; on the first level there are two single beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The second level is accessible via a wooden staircase and it opens on a sleeping area (mezannine type but not open) with a traditional Patmian double bed and its en-suite bathroom. This house disposes of a traditional chimney place.
There is an open space studio ideal for a couple with a balcony overlooking the yard - KAMARAKIA STUDIO - no 2. The studio is accessed via an external staircase and it consists of a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette and an iron double bed. It has a balcony with table and two chairs.
- The apartments are being rented separately or as a house to a group of friends.
- All shops, restaurants, taverns, taxis, bus station as well as the Monastery of the Apocalypse are at a walking distance from the house.
- Daily cleaning and change of sheets/towels every three days.
