Hotel Asteri on Patmos island was built in 1995 on the island of Patmos using traditional materials such as hewed stone, marble, and wood.
It is situated above the north part of the port of Skala, at the narrowest point of the island where the width of the island is a mere 250 meters.
From the hotel you have a wonderful view of the port of Skala , the Monastery of St. John, the old town of Hora, and the cave of the Apocalypse to the south.
To the north, you can see the bay of Merika which is only 50 meters away as well as the beach, the Aegean sea, and the island of Ikaria.
During the hot summer months, the hotel is bathed with a pleasant, refreshing breeze all day long. Hotel Asteri has 26 rooms with private bathrooms, private telephones, and area refrigerators. Every room has a view of the sea, and some rooms have individual airconditioning units or fans.
The hotel has a private parking, a large garden planted with flowers and many different kinds of plants, a breakfast terrace planted with flowering bougainvilleas, a bar, and a television lounge.
Breakfast includes eggs and honey produced on our very own farm.
